When Dr. Pants released the FEEZLE DAY album in 2000, it was a “ground zero” moment for David Broyles and the music he had made/wanted to make. “It was my original plan that Dr. Pants would, in some way, shape or form, continue to explore all the stylistic directions that existed on that album,” says Broyles, “Hence, the release of the WERKS 2 album in 2005, as a further exploration of the more “far out” aspects of FEEZLE DAY and the original WERKS album (1997).” As things continue to proceed to their logical end, it has become apparent to Broyles that Dr. Pants can and should be limited to material that falls within certain lines, and the rest of it…the more BIZARRE and perhaps FAR OUT bits…are now what is called WEIRD FILES. WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF WEIRD FILES.
